Four-week coding and automation cohort
Upcoming dates
A four-week hands-on cohort for coding and automation with AI.
You already understand software development concepts, and you are ready to bring your ideas to life. Now you need the skills to turn those ideas into working software and practical automations whenever you decide it is time to build. AI-assisted coding now enables teams to create real apps, internal tools, and workflow automations through structured conversations with AI tools. Learning strong prompting techniques, review habits, and delivery practices is the new essential skill for modern builders and operators.
In this four-week workshop, you will start with a prompt and progressively design, build, and refine practical apps and automations using chat-based AI tools. Each session combines short learning sessions with hands-on building. By the end of every week, you will have something working that you can continue improving. By week four, you will have a practical project deployed from your own code repository or workflow environment. If you have some prior software experience and are ready to build, you are a strong fit for this workshop.

Yes, some prior AI experience is recommended for this workshop. It is designed for builders, operators, consultants, IT professionals, and aspiring developers who already want to use AI to build and improve practical apps and automations.
Complete the full setup guide before Week 1. You should have Visual Studio Code, a Codex or Claude extension, Git, GitHub, Docker Desktop, and a paid Claude or ChatGPT account ready to use. You should also have a laptop, stable internet, and a project idea or workflow you want to turn into a practical app or automation.
No formal developer background is required. This workshop is designed for semi-technical participants, including IT professionals, aspiring developers, and people who want guided practice building practical apps or automations.
No. The workshop teaches transferable skills and workflows that can be applied across AI coding tools, chat interfaces, editor integrations, and future platforms.
Most participants build a practical app, internal tool, or workflow automation tied to work they already care about. That could include an operations dashboard, intake form, workflow helper, internal utility, or another lightweight product you want to keep improving after the workshop.
Yes. Week 2 introduces Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration, plus Docker for creating a consistent development environment. The goal is practical familiarity so you can keep improving your app with a more professional workflow.
You will shape your capstone as the workshop progresses, using the exercises and weekly feedback to improve it over time. In Week 4, you finalize the project, present what you built, and leave with clear next steps for continuing development after the cohort ends.
Yes. In Week 3, the workshop focuses on using AI planning features to break larger goals into manageable steps, improve the structure of your app or automation, and make the project easier to extend, test, and maintain.
